Thunder and Cotton

Last night, I was just laying here minding my own business and then I heard Mommy sewing.

I went into her sewing room to see what she was making.  I was just in time.  She had dropped a piece of white fabric on the floor and hadn't noticed.  I quietly walked in, picked up the piece and left,  Mommy didn't even notice.  The chase was on when Papa saw what I had.  When the running and rapid chewing and swallowing ended.  Papa was mad because he lost the game.  Mommy was mad because I ate her fabric.
Look at me, I am happy.

Mommy, I'm sorry I ate your quilt fabric.  Don't still be mad at me because I not feeling so good this morning.
Look at me, not so happy.

Thunder Has Fun

I'm am so ruggedly handsome but she hasn't returned, I hope she doesn't believe in first impressions.

I went to a picnic.  The car was being loaded,  I was just trying to help.

Help myself to some leftovers.

Mom lets us play ball in the house, I love playing ball.

I can catch it in mid air.

I wait patiently for it to be thrown again for the 20th time.

I went outside to play with my best friend Justice.  I finally got him down, after all I am now almost 7 months old, and it was fun not being the one on the bottom.

Justice got his summer haircut.  He is a handsome boy.

Thunder's Spring Fling

Thunder loves to go outside but the consequences, maybe not so much.

Looking his worse, he met his first girl friend.  She was trying not to look at him.  Afraid to show any interest because obviously dirt is not her thing.  She is so beautiful, all dressed in white.

Why can't she come down to see me now, after my bath?

Dreaming of her!

I'm going to try to stay looking good until I see her again.  Maybe she'll come down now.  I've been groomed and Mommy says I look very handsome!

Thunder's First Spring

hear it is Spring because the Robins are home.  I love watching the birds and chasing their shadows as they fly above me.  Spring hasn't really been very good for playing, I get very dirty when playing with my friends.  I have a new friend now her name is Roxie.  She doesn't play as rough as Justice because she is eight but she is still fun.

I have to sit until I'm all dry but I'm still dirty.

This could be why.

Hey, what happened to Spring?

Thunder Graduates Beginner Obedience Class

I have been doing great since my surgery.  I did hate not being able to play with Justice but I'm back to playing again.

All recovered just in time to go to Obedience Class.  I was kind of worried since there was a test.  I watched what the other dogs were doing and tried to do better.

I told Dad I was ready but I had to wait my turn.  Sometimes I'm not very patient.
That's my instructor on the right and Holly and her owner on the left.  It was Holly's turn.

I did a perfect sit, down, come, stay, walk but not so perfect on do not touch the treat without permission.  That is a hard one, I was trying to make Mom give it to me but the teacher said NO.  I really can't help it, I like treats alot.  I was able to do it after I moved back from Mom.  It's not good to be too close to a treat when you know you aren't suppose to have it.  I figured that out by myself so I should get points for problem solving.

I was real happy when the teacher presented me with my certificate.

I was worried, due to that treat episode.

I did hear the instructor say  " no puppy left behind" and handed us all our certificates.

I was going to post yesterday (April Fools) that I failed but I didn't want Grandma to think I didn't pass.  This will continue until I am obedient at Grandma's.

Grandma says I'm spoiled but she laughs when she says it, so I know it's ok to be spoiled but not ok to be disobedient.  I'm learning but even with a certificate I have a long ways to go.  Class was fun, I like learning new things.
