Thunder's First Birthday

Last year on this date, this was me.

I was the fourth born of nine and I was the smallest 8.4 ounces.

The first time my Mommy and Daddy met me.

My ride home, in my Bears shirt my dad bought me and wrapped in my quilt Mommy made me.

My first toy, Donkey Boy.

Today, it's another first.  It's my first birthday.
My only question is where's the cake.

Don't I look debonair in a hat?

Thunder Can Carry

I can carry a newspaper.

It's not too big for me.

I can carry a bone.

But it's not mine and Mom is making me take it back.

I'm not happy but the owners are.

The bone has been returned so I'm carrying a stick but it's not as tasty.

It's okay, Justice and Lucas had two bones and their Mom gave me one, I could bring home.
She is so nice!

I am so happy!

Thunder Wants Out

I am trying to convince Mommy to take me out.  This is the way I look when I hear no.

This is how I look when she says after I finish this.

This is how I look when she says let's go out.

This is how I look when I am outside.

With my friends.

Thunder and The Boys

We are having a lot of fun this summer, playing puppy in the middle with Lucas.

It's best to keep him in the middle because those baby teeth are sharp.

We play ball.

Lucas is the only one small enough to get the ball from under the car.  He crawled like a soldier.

Wait, am I seeing double?  No,it is Baxter, Lucas's brother.  I wish I could see my brother, Hunter, I would be so happy.

Boy, they make me tired.

Thunder's First Barbie Convention

I was home all week while everyone was at the Barbie Convention.  I wanted to go but I'm not a service dog so I had to stay home.  I did what I normally do.  Sleep, play and give kisses.

Sleep!

Sleep!

Play!

Play!

Kisses!

Kisses!

And sleep some more!

I had a great time with my sitters, they were nice and fun.

Thank you for caring for me!

Thunder Can Jump

have not been able to get into the car or the truck without help, it was getting embarrassing.   A big guy like me having to have his heinie lifted into a vehicle.  It was humiliating to say the least.  Today was special, I jumped right into the truck, it was great!  Everyone cheered and said something about not having to go to the doggy Chiropractor now.  It was a big deal, I think I was just getting to big to lift.
By the way, do you think this picture makes my butt look big?

Still spending my time playing with my friends.  Remember Lucas, he's a rascal, he's
trying to pull me, just like his Dad does.  He is definitely, Son of Justice!

Oh wait that's me, trying to pull his Dad by the collar.  I'm glad Lucas can only reach my leash.

That was prior to grooming but look at me now!

All groomed and happy.

My Mom says I'm beautiful but I like ruggedly debonair better, just like Castle.
What do you think?

Thunder and The 4th of July

The 4th of July lasted for many days.  I hear, it is not some dogs favorite holiday.  I feel sorry for the dogs who don't like it, especially those who get scared.  I wasn't scared.  It is just a noise.  I barked alot over the last few days but I like to bark.  When I hear noises I bark so I barked and barked and barked and no one even yelled at me.  I would run to the door and bark, I like the 4th of July.  After awhile, I stopped going to the door, I was tired.  I would just bark but then barking got boring and I was just sleepy. So I tried to sleep.

Success!

Hope you had a Happy 4th of July.

Thunder Meets Justice's Son Lucas

Today I went to Grandma and Grandpas' house.  I was really good and didn't eat any of Baby Khole's socks.  She refuses to wear them when I come to visit.  Really just because I ate one!  She must think, I'm going to take her blankie but I'm not, I don't like it when she cries.  Isn't she so cute?

It was an exciting day and when I got home, I had another surprise.  Lucas, Son of Justice was home.  He is a labradoodle.  Lucas and his Dad, Justice.

Justice is a Standard Poodle like me but Lucas's Mother is a Labrador Retriever so Lucas is Labradoodle.

 Isn't he cute, too?

Thunder Goes To Wisconsin

My second road trip, out of the state.  I'm on my way home from Boulder Junction, WI.  It is a 6 hour ride from my house.

I did have a little adventure not like chasing a squirrel but of a bird bath chasing me.  It was very scarey.  The owner of the shop was very nice, about the fact that I pulled her bird bath out into the parking lot.  I couldn't help it.  It got attached to my leash.  I still don't know how but the more I tried to escape , the more it followed.  No pictures, everyone was to excited to think about a picture.
I think I might understand how the squirrel feels when I chase him.

That was my second adventure this weekend.  I was at home and decided to go home with Molly, a goldendoodle, and her dad.  He was on this 4 wheeler and Molly and I ran very fast in front of him.  When my Mom found out she was very mad at my dad for not holding me when they left.  He should know I'm a puppy and I like to run fast with other dogs.  She came looking for me at the neighbors house but I beat her home.  It was far but I knew my way, Mom didn't think I did.  Dad was in the dog house but I don't have a dog house so he must have slept in my crate.  I didn't mind, I don't sleep in my crate anymore.

My feet were tired so I put them up.
I was tired so I went to sleep.

Thunder's Summer Days

Summer is fun.  I go outside and play a lot.  I am so glad I have a running partner.
We're warming up.

Then there is wrestling.  I use to lose all the time but I am occasionally winning now.  Well. it is rare.  You'll just have to take my word for it but my word is good.

Wait, there it is caught on camera, proof.

We get tired so we lay down but we can still play.

Porch light on,  Mom is calling.

Cooling off, resting up and dreaming of tomorrow.
