Thunder Loves The Spa

I'm still on vacation and I love this spa.  I can go out all day because there is a fenced yard.  It is great!  Oh look, I found something.

I love carrying things.  It is crunchy.

Oh, it is chase time.  She is trying to get the can but I'm too fast for her.

We'll circle and I'll let her get close.

Then away I go, a can and a chase what else could a dog want?

Well maybe a cool shade tree.  This place has it all.  

I let her have the can but I ate the cigarette.  She'll have to explain that one to my mom.

All that fun makes me tired.  I go inside.

Thunders First Day on Vacation

I'm on vacation.  This is how it started a road trip.  I love riding in the car.

It wasn't a long trip.  I went out to play in the yard, I played ball and I went for a walk.  I'm resting up now.

I'm dreaming of when I ate Grandmas' rug.  It was great until Papa found out and Grandma came home.  I tried to explain but they were not buying it.

This rug is big enough for me to stretch out on so I don't think I'll chew on it.  

Oh yell, I'm comfortable.  Vacation is great.

After I took a nap.  I was given a new toy.

It looks just like blue dog in rubber.

I'm a little chilled so I wrapped in my Bears blanket and now I can concentrate on chewing.

Opps, there goes an ear.  It just flew through the air.  Everyone is running after me but I don't have it.  Being chased and being on vacation is fun.

Thunders First Memorial Day and Sleepover.

Today is my first Memorial Day.  I understand it is a sad holiday.  We celebrate the lives of many who have fallen so we can be free.  We fly the flag in honor of them.  

I like to be free and run around without my lease.  But it has consequences. I get very dirty and Mom says I smell like a dog.  I am a dog but she says it like it's bad and usually a bath follows.

Before bath.  I jumped right in the tub.

During bath.  I like taking a bath.  It feels good.

And after bath.  I used 2 big bath towels to stop dripping.

Mom said there is a special surprise for me tonight.

Must be why I have to smell good.

I am staying at my sister Michelle's for 6 nights.

I have never been away from my forever home except to stay at Grandmas for the day with my parents.

I love Michelle so it should be fun.  I hope Sharrice will be there!

I'm excited.

Mom and Papa hugged and kissed me and Michelle.  They waved as we drove away.

I spent the rest of the evening exploring Michelle's house and yard.

This is going to be fun!

Thunder Goes to Indiana

Last week was very sad for me, some of my humans were on a trip.  

This is how I felt about it.

 

Papa called and I was very excited to hear his voice.  

I tried to get the phone.

I did have another snow day while they were gone, which surprised all of us.

I love snow!

 I played with Justice.  We have so much fun playing.

I helped clean up branches.

 

I worked hard.

I am resting after my longest truck trip.  We went to pickup Moe and Khloes's Aunt from DePauw University, it was my first trip out of state.  I did great on the trip but the stairs at Maura's dorm, I wasn't expecting, I am stair challenged.

The week went fast but I was very happy to see the rest of my family.

Their trip adventure stories were very entertaining and funny.

Their was a pool that looked like an Elvis guitar in Memphis.

A tattoo for Papa

New boots bought in New Orleans.

New Orleans Book Convention with 800 Authors.

But they missed me, I could tell.  I got a lot of hugs and kisses from them and they got a lot of licking from me.
